UA Local 342 is made up Plumbers, Steamfitters, Welders, Pipeline and HVAC/R Service Technicians. 

There are a few ways to become a member of our union. 

IF YOU HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF JOURNEYMAN-LEVEL EXPERIENCE (Plumber, Pipefitter, Pipeline, Welder, or HVAC/R), you may qualify to join our ranks as a provisional journeyman.  Please fill out our questionnaire and we will contact you to discuss your experience and qualifications.

IF YOU HAVE LIMITED OR NO EXPERIENCE in the industry one path to a career is through our apprenticeship Program.  If you're looking to become a construction helper then you fill out the construction helper questionnaire.
